Privacy Policy

Effective July 11, 2026

This page is maintained by Highstone Global University to explain how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our website, admission application, and related online services. Please read this policy carefully. By using our services, you acknowledge the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Personal and contact details submitted through the admission application (for example, name, email address, phone number, date of birth, nationality, and mailing address);
  • Academic history, program preferences, and supporting documents you upload;
  • Account information when you sign in or create an account, including information received from third-party sign-in providers;
  • Communications you send to us, including emails and support requests.

We may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, and device information, to help keep our services secure and functional.

2. Third-Party Sign-In

We offer the option to sign in using third-party authentication providers, currently Google and Apple. When you choose this option:

  • The sign-in process is handled by the provider you select, subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy;
  • We receive only the information necessary to authenticate you and create or link your account, typically including your email address and, when available, your name;
  • We do not receive or store your third-party account password;
  • You may disconnect third-party access by signing out or contacting us to request account deletion.

Authentication services are provided through Lovable Cloud's managed authentication infrastructure. Lovable Cloud processes sign-in requests on our behalf as a service provider.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and evaluate admission applications;
  • Communicate with you about your application and enrollment;
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services;
  • Verify identity and prevent fraud or unauthorized access;
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us operate our website, process applications, and provide authentication services (such as Lovable Cloud);
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
  • To protect the safety, rights, or property of Highstone Global University, our users, or others.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored in secure cloud infrastructure provided by our backend service provider. We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including processing your application, maintaining records, and complying with legal obligations. If you would like us to delete your information sooner, please contact us using the information below.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our services may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and support authentication. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features, including sign-in.

8. Your Rights and Choices
